Letter to the Telegraph

This piece caused me to write to the Telegraph

I cannot let Malcolm Farr's "history" of Sir Oswald Mosley MP go uncorrected.
The formation of the British Union of Fascists "the third way" derived from the mans dissatisfaction with the two British majority political parties of the time was based on Mussolini's Fascism which in itself can trace it's origins to the teachings of Marx and Lenin.
People who are dissatisfied with the two party system that is evident in most democratic countries often form political parties whose ideas clash with those of the majority parties Viz The Greens, Democrats and One Nation.
The imprisonment of Sir Oswald Mosley MP has more in common with the imprisonment of Pauline Hanson and to compare his imprisonment with that of David Hicks is drawing a long bow indeed.
Let us not forget the many other Australians imprisoned in foreign countries, those countries do not hold the same rights gifted to us from our British heritage.
Do we act like the Americans and seek to build nations in our own image?
We are at war we are under attack from an enemy as ruthless as the NAZIS we are our own enemy.
In the last twenty years I have watched this country grow shabby, lazy, greedy and brutish.
I have watched it happen with growing despair.
There is no pride, dignity or vitality any more, our way of life; our tolerance, our commonsense and a fair go for all.
What has happened?
We have become a stagnant pond on which the scum has risen to the surface.

They printed it of course edited but they printed it
A curious man Sir Oswald Mosley and his economic ideas have yet to be tried.
All branches of fascism appear to be lumped together under the banner of NAZIM
I must do some research on the "New Guard" here in NSW in the 1930's of course we ALL know that De Groote DID NOT cut the ribbon of the Harbour Bridge.
History is certainly interesting.
