Letter to the Telegraph

http://dailytelegraph.news.com.au/story.jsp?sectionid=1338&storyid=3347978

This piece caused me to write to the Telegraph

I cannot let Malcolm Farr's "history" of Sir Oswald Mosley MP go uncorrected.
The formation of the British Union of Fascists "the third way" derived from the mans dissatisfaction with the two British majority political parties of the time was based on Mussolini's Fascism which in itself can trace it's origins to the teachings of Marx and Lenin.
People who are dissatisfied with the two party system that is evident in most democratic countries often form political parties whose ideas clash with those of the majority parties Viz The Greens, Democrats and One Nation.
The imprisonment of Sir Oswald Mosley MP has more in common with the imprisonment of Pauline Hanson and to compare his imprisonment with that of David Hicks is drawing a long bow indeed.
Let us not forget the many other Australians imprisoned in foreign countries, those countries do not hold the same rights gifted to us from our British heritage.
Do we act like the Americans and seek to build nations in our own image?
We are at war we are under attack from an enemy as ruthless as the NAZIS we are our own enemy.
In the last twenty years I have watched this country grow shabby, lazy, greedy and brutish.
I have watched it happen with growing despair.
There is no pride, dignity or vitality any more, our way of life; our tolerance, our commonsense and a fair go for all.
What has happened?
We have become a stagnant pond on which the scum has risen to the surface.

They printed it of course edited but they printed it
A curious man Sir Oswald Mosley and his economic ideas have yet to be tried.
All branches of fascism appear to be lumped together under the banner of NAZIM
I must do some research on the "New Guard" here in NSW in the 1930's of course we ALL know that De Groote DID NOT cut the ribbon of the Harbour Bridge.
History is certainly interesting.

Katie comes home

Mrs Stumpy drove me over to Holtons to get Katie.

$1160 was the cost she has a new clutch, front brake hoses, rear shocks, rear spring shackles and new universal joints.

Wayne tells me it was the pressure plate that had failed and I had given him carte blanche to Fix what else was wrong.

So when I got home Clive and I went to Horsley Park Gun Shop. I wanted some Hornady 174gn FMJ .303 projectiles but they had none in stock. Katie behaved herself and Clive enjoyed himself.

all in all not a bad day.

Black Dog

Well that what I've got.

Feel as is the whole world is on my shoulders, all the Crap is piling up and I miss my job that was taken from me by the Mexican Jews.

Feel so cold and low. I know it's not normal and I am going to take myself off to the Doctor
Let you know how I get on...........

Just returned from the Doctor. Well what do you know it's a side effect of the medication for the Fecal impaction

Talk about shit on the liver

I have some new medication to take and the rocks are moving so I hope that they continue to do so.

I'm a traveling man

Well it cost $111.50 to get the car towed to Holtons.
It would have cost more but it does pay to belong.

I will pick it up on Saturday

I walked from Dee Why to Manly, it took me 2 1/2 hours.
It's a different world over there. Very few asians and a lot of people with tattoos.

The ferry was not running so I caught the Jetcat for the price of the Ferry I then changed ferrys at the Quay to the Rivercat to go home.

The tide was very high ,I have never seen it so high, at Abbotford the water was washing inside the boathouse!

Whilst waiting for Mrs Stumpy to pick me up from the wharf I could feel the cold biting into me.

Yes I could have walked home across the park but I'd done enough walking for the day.

Clutch Crap Mk2

On my way to the AGM today the clutch failed.........

It's sudden demise leads me to suspect that the rear main engine oil seal has leaked into the clutch, thats what it smells like.

What a day, yes I got reelected as Secretary mainly because no one would stand.

One thing for sure I am having tomorrow off work.

I wonder how I am going to get the car to Holton's at Dee Why?

It Happens, or does it.......

I am ill, I have discovered that I am suffering from fecal impaction commonly known as constipation.
After tests and Xrays I have been prescribed some drugs that will shift the problem.

Even though there is not much to laugh about.....

Doctor. Holding up Xray " You see this dark mass here, that's poo"

Stumpy. "People have been telling me that I'm full of shit for years, now I have the proof"

The whole situation has been quite unreal, as I have been going but apparently not emptying out completely. This causes the system to back up.

The gut pain is incredible it doubles me up with agony

You know I have been more times to the doctor in the last 5 years than in the last 35

Perhaps it's a sign of getting older ?

Letter to the Herald

For those of you who are not from Sydney Australia a bit of background here the Herald or to give it it's full title "The Sydney Morning Herald" is one of two papers in Sydney they are what's left as the old "Sun" and "Mirror" have closed down. Consequently it has become hard to get letters printed in the remaining papers but I try, this article in the Herald http://www.smh.com.au/news/National/Bored-members-hate-meetings/2005/06/05/1117910189996.html

prompted this letter which was not printed.

Sorry Rhonda,
People don't take positions on boards because they are too dreary, they don't take positions because they might have to do some WORK, that four letterword puts them off.

I am the unpaid secretary of a small group and at present we are in theprocess of collecting our annual subscriptions and preparing reports for our District and State Organizations as well as submitting documentation to various Government departments as is required by law.

Half filled out forms, incorrect money, stupid questions & Tomato sauce stains...........

Refusal to involve yourself in politics means that you end up being ruled by your inferiors

You would really be pulling your hair out.

That about sums my feelings up.
